TIESTO IN CONCERT:
From his days spinning underground parties to his current status as one of the world's most famous DJs and producers, Tiesto has remained a dance music pioneer committed to transcending boundaries with his next-level productions and inspiring live sets. He continues to break new ground in 2014 with the release of A Town Called Paradise, his fifth record and the first on a major label. Anthemic lead single "Red Lights" encapsulates the album's unique hybrid of house, electro, and pop, and it perfectly complements fan favorites like "Adagio For Strings" and "Pair of Dice" at his electrifying live shows. Tiesto's jaw-dropping sets and state-of-the-art visuals will have fans dancing till the break of dawn on a string of highly anticipated summer dates that include headlining slots at Hard Summer 2014 and Outside Lands.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born Tijs Michiel Verwest in the Netherlands, Tiesto got his start in the mid-'90s releasing hardcore/gabber tracks under a variety of monikers. After a brief stint collaborating with Ferry Corsten as Gouryella in the late-'90s, he garnered significant attention under the name DJ Tiesto with a massively successful remix of Delirium's 2000 hit "Silence". In 2001 he released his solo debut LP In My Memory, an impressive collection of songs that earned him superstar status with international club hits like "Lethal Industry" and "Flight 643". Over the course of his remarkable career Tiesto has released more than 35 DJ mixes, dropped more than 100 remixes, played on stage at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, and been named "The Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mixmag. In 2014 he made his major label debut with his fifth album A Town Called Paradise, supporting the album's release with a string of highly anticipated tour dates.

by DJsnow on 9/9/24Big Night Live - BostonI understand it's not a festival and it's more the club vibe but when I pay to see a specific DJ, I'd rather hear his music and not a bunch of other artists tracks. It was good, but if I'm paying $100 for 90mns of performance- I'd like 90 mns of his music.

I purchased the ticket without checking his schedule first, but when I did, I noticed that he was also scheduled to perform at 9:30 pm at a 2 day outdoor festival in Worcester (50 miles away). That's when I realized he wasn't going to show up til much later, around 12:30 btw. Don't advertise that he's going to be on a 9:30 when he's already schedule to perform at another venue at the same time!

by TampaGrl on 2/2/24Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Event Center - TampaTiesto came on around 3pm. Don’t advertise an 11am concert, not true. Enjoyed the venue, VIP next time. Standing for 6 hours was rough. He didn’t play The Business or The Motto, kind sad about that.

The music had the young crowd jumping and the boomers reminiscing about their glory days. Ti?sto managed to unite generations through the power of dance beats – who knew boomers still had those moves? It was like a musical time machine, and we all danced our way through it!
