THE O'JAYS IN CONCERT:
When it comes to classy, color-coordinated, old-school soul showmanship, nobody can touch the O'Jays. Taking the stage in matching suits to perform beloved classics from their decade-spanning catalog, the debonair trio never fails to transport audiences back to the good old days of "Love Train" and "For the Love of Money." Hot off the heels of their 2013 induction into the R&B Music Hall of Fame, the O'Jays will treat fans to several highly anticipated appearances in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Ohio in 1958, The O'Jays experienced moderate success throughout the '60s with a string of minor hits like "Lonely Drifter" and? "Lipstick Traces." On the verge of calling it quits in the early '70s, the band finally got their big break after signing to Philadelphia International for their platinum-selling 1972 single "Back Stabbers." The song established them as a key player in the Philadelphia soul movement, a funk-infused brand of soul that pioneered many of the elements later adopted by disco. A string of hits would follow throughout the '70s, including epochal No. 1 smash "Love Train," creating a legacy the band continues to honor today with their spirited performances on tour.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"They sounded great and put on a really great show. They sang all of their popular songs, ending with For the Love of Money...which brought the house down. Everyone was on their feet, dancing and singing and really enjoying the show."
"This was a great show. They performed their old-school moves and wore matching outfits, something you don't see with ‘newer’ performers."
"The show was awesome. The O'Jays took me down memory lane and back. The show was attended by ages 20-80 and all had a great time."

This was my 3rd time seeing The Mighty O’Jays! They will never ever ever ever disappoint! The vibes were amazing, soul filling, and lit! I am a 39YO super fan of the O’Jays they will always be my vibe no matter what. It’s always an honor to be in their greatness! This was my first time at the Hard Rock concert venue and it was the best. We had 3rd row seats honestly the third best seats in the house lol. Please continue to show up and show out for the O’Jays as they are living legends that still put on a spectacular show! Trust me the mics were on!
To me the concert was excellent. The Spinners was very good and they sang a lot of their hits which had everyone singing along. The Ojays was excellent also. I just saw them perform at the casino in Connecticut and they were excellent there also. They will always be my favorite group. Keep up the good work because we are all getting on in life. Peace n Love
Had a great time great show two of the best groups ever. My seats were fantastic for the price. Love that theater will always go back again and again and again.
Great performance. Their voices did not change much. Mr. Eddie is still a riot!
We had a purely Motown experience. So much fun and great music!
Concert at hard rocks on 713 with spinners and the O’Jays the guys were fantastic. Still got it after all these years. The only problem I thought was that the music was so loud that you couldn’t take full advantage of their excellent voices. The base was too loud. The drums were too loud. It wasn’t the Guys themselves it was the band
The opener was The Spinners and they did an entire hours worth of hits. We were in section 311 . The way the venue is setup there’s not a bad seat in the place. The Ojays were excellent ,To be so old Eddie Levert really knows how to put on a show.plenty of jokes too. Hardrock is an amazing venue. This is my second show here
Good show surprised how long they song . Pinnersalso very good
Awesome concert!!!!!! The music brought back precious memories of days gone by. The crowd was very maintained, and we all had good fun together, singing and reminiscing together throughout the entire concert
