Miami Marlins History
The Miami Marlins first took the field in 1993 as a member of the National League. Originally named the Florida Marlins, the team secured their first NL Wild Card berth in 1997, then proceeded to win the NL Pennant and defeat the Cleveland Guardians in seven games for their first World Series title. In 2003, the Marlins once again advanced from the NL Wild Card game to claim their second championship in a six-game series against the New York Yankees. The team qualified for the postseason Wild Card round in 2020 and 2023.?
In 2012, the Marlins moved from the multipurpose Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens to LoanDepot Park and rebranded as the Miami Marlins. Throughout the years, the Marlins have competed with over a dozen Gold Glove and Silver Slugger players, as well as four Rookies of the Year, four Managers of the Year, the 2017 NL MVP and two-time Hank Aaron Award winner Giancarlo Stanton and 2022 Cy Young winner Sandy Alcántara.?

Went to Loan Depot June 26. Paid $65 a ticket. 3 hour drive from Cape Coral. Last part to over 1/2 an hour. Have no idea who decided to put the stain in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Forget about lights there were four way stop signs. If there had been any large amount of people attending the game it would be a disaster. But it seems like no one went to the game. We had pre-paid parking but we’re told to go to the fourth floor. We finally said the hell with this and parked on the second floor. When we finally got through with our half an hour death march to get from the parking lot to the stadium my wife was told that she could not take her bag. There should’ve been signs in the parking lot but there weren’t. We then entered the stadium and found multiple employees that were unable to speak English. On the way to our seats we had a traverse 100 steps going down. We were not going back up so we were limited to ordering food on an app that even the person understood the app took 10 minutes. The food was very limited and of course for Ball park food is very overpriced. We then discover that we were able to take a much shorter route on the way back to the car but of course that was not offered when we got there. We have started checking attendance around the league and have discovered the marlins are near the bottom. We understand why.
