Hoodoo Gurus Tickets

The Hoodo Gurus “rocked” the Birchmere. They played all our favorite songs and even took audience requests. They were high energy as if it was still 1984. It had been a while since I saw a show at the Birchmere. What a great place. Easy parking, table seating near the band, and beer delivered to the table. Best of all everybody was engaged with the band or each other, not with their heads buried in their smart phone. Viva 1984! Viva Hoodo Gurus!

I've seen the Gurus so many times over the past 30 years, and they have always given the greatest shows to us. They are tight, witty, excellent songsmiths and musicians, and give all they have to their performances.

If you are on the fence, go see them. The band is really tight and sounds great. They played all the hits and than some. We saw them at The Birchmere. Great staff, excellent food, and outstanding beer section.

The Gurus have still hot it. Lots of energy. And the songs have not aged, or maybe it's just that they were so much a part of my growing up that I felt transported to the common room at my university residential college c1984-1987. Whatever I had a real blast!

Loved it! Hoodoo Gurus are a fun band! Second time seeing them and they do not disappoint.

Opened with the complete Stoneage Romeos. Could have ended there and it would have been great, but kept going and only got better. Brought me back.

Dave Faulkner and his band of Gurus from Australia have not lost a step. They blew the doors off of the house and the house….The Birchmere, was as always, great venue and staff. Doesn’t get any better. Thank you Gurus and Birchmere!

I think the band sounded great- especially toward the end of the show when it appeared the vocals and guitars seemed to move to the forefront. Before that, they seemed overwhelmed by the bass and drums.

The Hoodoo Gurus never disappoint. Venue was great as well.
