Brilliant production and excellent presentation. Pantages Theater is a great Theater.
What a great show! My husband, our 12-year-old and I thoroughly enjoyed this musical. We laughed a lot and some of us even cried. Two hours and 45 minutes went by so fast. We never once wondered when it will end. If you’ve never seen Hamilton or you’ve only seen it on television, I highly recommend that you see it live. Enjoy!
First time watching a show at the Pantages and will not be the last one, Hamilton was amazing, my daughter and I we were with an aaawwwww!!!! fantastic show, the best one.
Although I really did enjoy the show, it’s hard to watch these actors when you have engrained the original performance in your head from watching Disney+. I remember watching this before the movie version came out and loved it, but this time it was so hard to watch. I thought they did a great job though.
Where do I start? This is my first time watching this live. I've seen it on Disney+ during the pandemic, but even then I was already in awe. Seeing it live for the first time made me realize what a genius Lin-Manuel Miranda is. The cast were all great. The set was not complicated but very effective, the music superb. I cried several times. I love how history is presented in an unorthodox way, bringing the past with the present type of music and modern America, which is full of diversity. Realistic and inclusive, touching, riveting and as an immigrant myself, made me look up what the founding fathers were truly like back then. I love this musical!
The Pantages theater was overrun with screaming chatty, children, preteens and teenagers. I would not do another weekday matinee because of that. The event itself was spectacular. The singing the dancing were fabulous. The rapping in between was a little difficult to understand so we lost a little bit of the meaning that they were expressing,. Other than that, it was a fabulous production, something constantly moving, and taking place on stage. Love the Pantages theater, but would go on a weekend or evening in the future!
Great story and talent. Very entertaining. Wish music was toned down to allow for better understanding of lyrics.
My husband and I went and absolutely loved it. I highly reccomend this play. It will make you laugh one minute then cry the next. If you want your kids to learn about a piece of history, this is a great experience for them.
My wife and I brought our grand child (age 14) to the performance and it was her first time seeing it live. She's seen it over 2 dozen times on Disney and she's a Hamilton fanatic. She dressed as Peggy Schuyler and she also loved it. It was magical watching the performance live and I'm in awe of the writing, the music and the actors performances.
