Buffalo Sabres History
The Sabres joined the NHL in the 1970 expansion, and just two years later embarked on a streak that saw them reach the playoffs in 12 of the next 13 seasons. Leading the way were "The French Connection" line of Hall of Fame center Gilbert Perreault, left-wing Rick Martin, and right-wing René Robert. The Quebec-born trio was together in Buffalo from 1972 through 1979. Aided by Craig Ramsay, the Sabres and their French Connection advanced to the 1975 Stanley Cup Final in? their fifth season, though they fell in six games to the Philadelphia Flyers.
In the following 10 seasons, all of which resulted in playoff berths, the Sabres captured two division titles. Fueled by defenseman (and former U.S. Olympic star) Mike Ramsey, the Sabres made nine playoff appearances between the 1981–1982 and 1991–1992 seasons. Later, during goaltender Dominik Hasek's nine seasons, the Sabres continued to be a consistent playoff team. In 1999, they dispatched the Ottawa Senators, Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs in the playoffs to again reach the Stanley Cup Finals, where they fell to the Dallas Stars in six games.
In 2006 and 2007 the Sabres made it as far as the conference finals before succumbing to the Carolina Hurricanes and Ottawa Senators, respectively. To date, the Sabres have been in the playoffs 29 times, winning six divisional championships and three conference titles.

Great night with my granddaughters and a solid win.
Nothing negative to report. All good. ??. The pre-season pricing was nice and the process was smooth. Not to mention that the Sabres looked motivated and kicked butt.
My grandson wanted to see one last Flyer's game before the regular season wound down. We choose Buffalo NY as it was a place I wanted to see and was drivable in one day. Bought tickets in the 106 section behind the visitor's bench. Great seats and very comfortable. We thought the arena was very nice and it had an old school feel to it which we thought was really cool. What was also neat was the location of the arena. It was easy to get in and park and leaving was not bad compared to getting out of Philly. Also everyone was friendly and helpful. The game was great, Flyers lost but not for lack of trying. That goalie for the Saber's was on fire that night stopping all but 2 shots. We enjoyed the town so much we have decided to do the trip again. Plus I like the Bills as well so we will be back. As a plus we visited Niagra Falls the next day. Great trip
Awesome time at the Buffalo Sabres hockey game Fri Apr 5 at Buffalo’s Key Bank Arena. Ticketmaster put the tickets and parking on the app, gave simple instructions on what to do before the game, everything went off without a hitch, easy peasy. Thank you Ticketmaster!!!
Excellent facility. Great game. Won a sabres jersey from an in-game promotion. Enjoyable experience.
My granddaughters live in the Finger Lakes and are huge hockey fans. We went to a preseason game on one of their birthdays but hadn't gotten to another. We went on Friday to see the Flyers game and I had reservations about going in case it was a bad game. Happily, the girls got to see two goals scored in front of them in the second period, the Sabres won and we all left with smiles on our faces.
Couldn’t even purchase an Italian sausage on the third level. A very common item to buy and not available anywhere on the upper concourse. Seats were fine, but my initial purchase wasn’t available and ended paying more per ticket than I wanted. Disappointed in that.
Great time had by all , Our first NHL game as a family. Great game the staff does a good job getting you around the arena to your seats . Sabres fans are great . Would definitely go back.
Had a great time!! awesome seats and app made it easy to get tickets
Great arena. Fun game. Half the price compared to a leaf home ticket to drive to buffalo watch a game eat and drive back. Will always look to visit buffalo to see these two teams play.
